What is ALO?

ALO is a personal safety product concept combining a small Bluetooth SOS button with a smartphone app that can share emergency alerts and location information with trusted contacts.

Does ALO require a smartphone?

Yes. The initial concept depends on a compatible smartphone nearby with Bluetooth, location permissions, battery power, and an active internet connection.

Does ALO have its own GPS?

No. The initial concept uses your smartphone’s location services to keep the hardware simple and affordable.

Can I choose who gets notified?

Yes. The planned app will allow users to select trusted contacts to receive SOS alerts.

Can ALO work with a Tile?

We are exploring existing Bluetooth tracker hardware, including Tile-style devices. Compatibility with specific products has not yet been confirmed.

Does ALO automatically call emergency services?

No. The initial product concept focuses on notifying selected contacts rather than replacing public emergency services.

When will ALO launch?

ALO is in the concept and early-interest stage. There is no announced launch date. Join early access for future updates.

Will ALO work in both Serbia and Romania?

Both countries are intended initial launch markets, subject to development, testing, and availability.

What happens if the phone is not nearby?

The initial concept requires a connected smartphone nearby. Without that connection, the Bluetooth button cannot independently send an alert.
